When you upload original material that you have authored you retain ownership of that material. However, by using our system you grant us a license to use that material. Refer to our Terms of User for more detail.
There is no real theoretical limit to the space allocated to each new Affiliate. However our system monitors all Affiliate account usage to ensure the web space usage is commensurate with the traffic activity.
Also, each new image created by a user is stored by us to facilitate the viral marketing feature when someone viewing that image in an email or from site where the image has been embedded, can click on the image and be returned to the Affiliate site where the image was created.
However, if an image has not been virally accessed for any period greater then 60 days, our system purges that image out of public access.
The Affiliate program operates on a revenue share model based on two banner ads. All new Affiliate sites have two banner ads one that belongs to the Affiliate and one that belongs to PikiCentral.
The position of the two banners is randomly swapped between us on a regular basis so that we both get equal prime exposure rights. Content provision of the banners is setup within the Affiliate administration console and Affiliates have three options for content (1) Google Adsense, (2) Adbrite, or (3) a custom html banner option. In this way, the revenue earned by an Affiliates banner goes directly to them without PikiCentral touching it.
Affiliates can monitor traffic on their site via an in depth traffic reporting section included within the Affiliate administration console
Yes, this can be setup within the Affiliate administration console within the Domain Settings page, which is a sub-menu item of the Settings page.

The first step in setting up your domain with Pikicentral, is purchasing a domain. In order to do this, you should use a domain registrar.
After you have obtained a domain, you will need to create a CNAME record that points your domain to dressup.pikicentral.com or comic.pikicentral.com. This record informs computers that your domain shares a computer with www.pikicentral.com. This setup is done through your domain provider's DNS configuration system.
All images generated through the site are hosted on our servers, these are under a different url than the site itself. If you want your site to look and feel completely independant of pikicentral, you can also map the url's of where the images are hosted to your own domain. To do this you follow the same steps as mapping a domain.
